As per the NVYLL, please see below for the new concussion guidelines:

 

1.1.11

  1. Each coach must complete the Heads Up: Concussion in Youth Sports on-line training course available on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) prior to the start of each season. http://www.cdc.gov/concussion/headsup/online_training.html. We also recommend that parents and others helping keep athletes from concussion take the course.

  2. Distribute the Heads Up Parent Fact Sheet to the parents of minor players prior to the start of each season. This can be distributed electronically or in hard copy. http://www.cdc.gov/concussion/HeadsUp/youth.html

Requires each non-interscholastic youth sports program utilizing public school property to establish policies and procedures regarding the identification and handling of suspected concussions in student-athletes, based on either the local school division's policies and

 

The NVYLL Committee recognizes the importance of Concussion Awareness and Training

for all their teams and players. The NVYLL Committee has established an awareness program that

must be followed by all member clubs unless the club has a program of its own. If a club has a

program of its own it must, minimally, have all the elements of the NVYLL program. The elements of

the program are provided below. The information used by the program will be published on

Concussion Awareness page on the NVYLL website.
