*Pre-check in requirements Click Here for form.
Before entering the field, we ask parents to please have their players put on all gear by their car and then have your child check in with the Bandits volunteers. Check in will open 15 minutes prior to the start of practice. After your child has checked in, we will ask them to stand on the side of the field socially distancing and wait until they are instructed by coaches to come onto the field. Currently, for players that are 8 years or older, we are discouraging parents from staying and watching practice due to COVID19. If you do stay, we encourage you to remain in your vehicle; parents are not allowed onto the field, and if standing outside you must follow all local social distancing and face covering guidelines.
At the conclusion of practice, we will guide players back up to the parking lot used for check in. Please meet your child(ren) in the parking lot in order to help us avoid bunching of players and close contact.
3. Weather/Missed Sessions/Makeups
Weather and cancellation guidance for Jan & Feb - this is what will guide us, and we will communicate the decision prior to each session:
If no rain and the temperature is projected to be:
Below 32 deg F, all practices are cancelled.
32 deg - 40 deg, only Boys 14 & 12U and G7/8 & G5/6, all others are cancelled.
Above 40 deg - practice is on!
If there is a potential for rain/snow and the temperature is projected to be:
Below 32 deg F, all practices are cancelled.
32 deg - 40 deg, all practices are cancelled.
40 deg - 50 deg, potentially only Boys 14U & 12U (practice time decision)
Above 50 deg - Boys are on, Girls will be a practice time decision
The main point of the cutoffs is to ensure that your player has a reasonably good time during the weather-challenged part of the season. We want to use these sessions, but don't need to go to extremes to get them.
4. Congratulations on making it to the end!
